PokerAndroid Manual

Quick Start

  • Turn off all screensavers.
  • Open up the poker site you will be playing on.
  • Sit down at a limit hold’em table.
  • Press the “Auto Post Blind Option” on your table.
  • Open up Online Holdem Inspector, select your site and press the “Start Watching” button.
    • Note 1: If two or more tables are open, click Select Table button and select a table.
    • Note 2: The program can only “see” what you can see, so if the game table is behind a window it won’t be able to capture cards.
    • Note 3: If playing on Prima sites, make sure to select “Separate windows per game” from Menu->Options->General Options from lobby. You need to close all game windows BEFORE selecting this option.
  • Open up Poker Android.
  • Choose your poker site.
  • Press “List Tables” and select your table.
  • Press “Start Session”
  • Observe a hand to be sure PokerAndroid is connected and functioning properly.
  • Clicking on any of the help icons on the form will display information about the button, textbox or dropdown.

Poker Site Setup

The poker sites below require certain system/options settings in order for OPI to read the table and for PokerAndroid to work. Be sure that OPI is working correctly and giving you advice before starting PokerAndroid.

  • Absolute Poker
    • Make sure to set the table view to “Top View”:
      • If using Classic View, click on dealer tray to bring up Options dialog.
      • If using Quarter View, click on Options button located at top-center.
      • Click Change Table View button.
      • Click Top View.
      • Click “Apply this view to all tables”. Ok.
    • Make sure the game window is default size:
      • Click on “D” button located at top-right corner of the game window.
    • Set the Dealer Message to Everything from Options dialog.
    • If running Vista, set the Windows Themes to “Windows Classic”:
      • Right-click desktop.
      • Select Personalization.
      • Click Theme.
      • Select “Windows Classic”. Ok.
  • Cryptologic sites
    • Set the chat option to “All Messages” from Lobby -> Options menu -> Chat Messages. You can also click the dealer tray.
  • Eurobet/Hollywood/PokerRoom
    • Close the chat window or OPI gets confused
  • Full Tilt
    • Set the Language option to English:
      • Select “English” from Full Tilt lobby -> Languages menu -> Open Language Options.
    • Make sure to use default table view:
      • Select Table View from Full Tilt lobby -> Options menu.
      • Select Classic view. OK.
    • Make sure the game window is default size:
      • Click on Layout button (located at top-right corner of game window).
      • Select “Back to Default Size”.
  • Party Poker
    • Install English version of Party Poker:
      • Go to Party Poker.
      • At the top of the page, select “English”.
    • Make sure the game window is default size:
      • Close the game window.
      • Disable “Open Table(s) in Large Size” from Party lobby -> Game Rules & Options menu.
    • Make sure to set the theme to “PartyPoker classic”:
      • Close all game tables.
      • Click Preferences from Party Lobby.
      • Click Themes.
      • Select “PartyPoker classic”.
      • Click Save.
  • Poker Stars
    • Set the Language option to English:
      • Select “English” from Stars lobby -> Language -> Play in.
    • Make sure to use default theme:
      • Click on bottom-right corner of the dealer tray.
      • Select Themes.
      • Select “PokerStars Default Theme”.
      • Click Apply.
      • Select “Apply theme to all the tables”. OK. Close.
    • Make sure the game window is default size:
      • Click on bottom-right corner of the dealer tray.
      • Select Reset To Default Size.
  • Prima sites
    • Make sure to disable “Flashing Cards”:
      • Click Menu located at top-right corner of the game window.
      • Select Options.
      • Click Animation Options tab.
      • Disable “Flashing Cards”.
    • Make sure the chat option is set to Full Detail (enabled by default).
  • UltimateBet
    • Make sure to set the table view to “Classic View”:
      • Right-click game window.
      • Select Options.
      • Click Change Table View button.
      • Select “Classic View”.
      • Click “Apply this view to all tables”. Ok.
    • Make sure the game window is default size:
      • Click on “D” button located at top-right corner of the game window.
    • Set the Dealer Message to Everything from Options dialog.
    • If running Vista, set the Windows Themes to “Windows Classic”:
      • Right-click desktop.
      • Select Personalization.
      • Click Theme.
      • Select “Windows Classic”. Ok.

System Requirements

  • Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP.
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher
  • 200 MHz Pentium or faster CPU with at least 64 MB of RAM.
  • At least 16-bit color quality.
  • Recomended 1024×768 screen resolution.

Preparing Online Holdem Inspector for Play

Preparing Poker Android for Play

  • Open up Poker Android.
  • In the “Android Window Title” text box enter the caption you want to appear on the application.(Helps avoid detection)
  • Press the New Session Button to open a new session
  • In the “Poker Site” dropdown select the poker site you are playing at.
  • Press the “List Tables” button to list all of the tables currently open for the poker site you selected. Select your table.
  • In the “Session Length” textbox enter the length for your session in hours. Decimals are valid. 1.25 for example would be 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • In the “Max Idle Time” textbox enter the maximum number of minutes that Poker Android will be idle before he leaves the table. Used for disconnects or when tables break fast.
  • In the “Max Delay” textbox enter the maximum amount of random time to wait before acting on your hand when it is your turn. Poker Android will automatically wait a random amount of time between 0 and the amount entered here before clicking the action button.
  • Check the “Close Table on Session End” checkbox if you would like to have Poker Android close the table for you when the session is over. It is recommended you always check this box.
  • Check the “Close Poker Site on Session End” if you want Poker Androud to automatically close the poker site software when your session is over.
  • Click the “Close Android on Session End” if you want Poker Android to close itself when the session is over.
  • Press the “Start Session” button to begin your session.

Playing on Multiple Tables

  • Playing on multiple tables is quite simple.
  • After you have your first table going open up another instance of Online Holdem Inspector and connect it to the second table you are playing on.
  • Press the New Session Button on PokerAndroid to open another tab and table.

Poker Android During Play

  • Poker Android during play will take all required actions based on the suggested play from Online Holdem Inspector
  • Pressing the “Pause” Button will pause your current session so you can act manually on your hand if desired. The pause button will now say “Resume”, press “Resume” to have Poker Android take over again.
  • Pressing the “End Session” button will end your session immediately and Poker Android will no longer act on your hands for you.
  • Below the action buttons you will see a message stating the session start time and expected end time.

Poker Android Log Files

  • Poker Android logs all of the action Poker Android takes during its session.
  • Below the session start and end time you will see the location of the log file for the current session.
  • You may view this log file in any text editor such as notepad.
  • Log File Contents
    • Name of file includes Table Name, Stakes and session start date/time.
    • Every action Poker Android took along with the exact time of the action
    • Time of the session end.
    • The reason the session ended.
    • Log files are not deleted unless you delete them.

Anti Detection

  • In the “Android Title Window” textbox enter a common program name such as “Internet Explorer”, “Spades”, “Outlook” or any other common program.
  • Rename the executable for this software. Some sites may scan your running programs in task manager so renaming the .exe file to a common program name as above will help mask it.
  • It is recommended not to overuse Poker Android. If you leave it on to play 20 hour sessions 5 days a week it may arouse suspiscions. It is recommended to use it in session of only a few hours at a time.
  • Party Poker is the most risky site to use this software on. Many other sites don’t hassle players and don’t run scans for such software and are therefore safer. Remember Poker Android is not responsible if a poker site closes your account.
  • Lastly there are other methods that we take advantage of behind the scenese for you such as not appearing in your taskbar that help avoid detection.
  • Keep in mind with the ever changing software and poker site changes we can never guarantee you will not be detected.
