Automatic Hold'em Playing Pokerbot Software

PokerAndroid FAQ

Why do i get an error as soon as i try to run PokerAndroid?
This is probably because you do not have the Microsoft .NET framework 1.1 installed on your machine. You may want to download and install from Microsoft's web site . If the problem continues please Contact Support.

What is the .NET framework and how do I know if I have it installed?
It is a set of common tools required by many newer windows applications. If you don't have the newset version it will automatically be installed with our product. You can read me about the .NET framework on Microsoft's Website

Is this software legal?
There is nothing illegal about using this software however please check with each individual poker sites license and user agreement. Many sites don't do scans for software such as ours however some sites such as party poker do. Please be aware party poker scans your system regular for various things and even takes screenshots. They are notorious for suspending accounts on multiple occasions in the past unrelated to PokerAndroid. We find Party Poker very non customer friendly and while our software will work on their site we recommend using it on other sites that do not monitor your system and hassle patrongs. Please keep in mind Rekop Industries, PokerAndroid and its affiliates can't be responsible if any poker site closes your account or seizes funds for use of our software.

Why is PokerAndroid losing money?
What profile are you using? Are you using the default profiles from Online Holdem Inspector or are you using a custom profile? The profile that you use in Online Holdem Inspector determines the strategy for folding, calling and raising. Please be sure you have read our Profiles page. Also keep in mind that while PokerAndroid will follow good poker playing strategy with the right profile it will not win hundreds of dollars a day if he is playing .25/.50 cent table. It will play poker well using the profile but can not make bad hands win and will not attempt too. Also keep in mind that just like a real player PokerAndroid can go through swings, even his Aces can be cracked.

Why does sitout not work on some sites?

  • Sitout if # of Players Less than CheckBox and Input - Check this checkbox to turn on the siutout feaute and specify the # of players for the Sit Out option. Specify the minumum number of players PokerAndroid will play with. If the number of players at the table drops below this then PokerAndroid will sitout. It will wait until the appropriate number of players join the game and then start plsying again.
  • Leave if # of Players Less than CheckBox and Input - Check this checkbox to turn on the siutout feaute and specify the # of players for the Leave Table option. Specify the minumum number of players PokerAndroid will play with. If the number of players at the table drops below this then PokerAndroid will leave table.
  • Table Size Dropdown List - Select the size of the table you are playing at. Full size or a short handed/6 person table.
  • For Absolute and Full tilt you need to set the hand history file location.
    • Click File Menu
    • Choose "Edit Hand History Location
    • In the popup screen. Click Change to browse to the location of the hand history files for absolute and full tilt
    • Once you have selected the location of these folders click save changes and sitout will work on both of these sites.
On some sites due to font smoothing Scraping certain information from the poker table will not work. This however is simple to fix. You need to turn off font edge smoothing.
Steps to turn off font smoothing:

  • Right Click anywhere on your desktop and select the properties option.
  • Click the Appearances Tab.
  • Click the Effects Button.
  • Uncheck the checkbox that says "Use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts:"
  • Click the OK button on that screen and then click OK on the main properties screen.
  • Sitout should now work correctly on all sites.

Do I need to buy the full version of Online Holdem Inspector to use your product? If so why?
If you would like to play on real money tables with PokerAndroid then yes you will. Our product does not have a restriction on the tables you play on however the trial version of Online Holdem Inspector will not allow you to play on real money tables or change profiles. We chose this route in development since Online Holdem Inspector already had a great poker strategy engine in place and a system to customize your play. Since they had the strategy we simply wrote the software to add automation by reading in the recomended action from their software and perform it

I have heard of pokerbot pro and they require you to write scripts. Does PokerAndroid require scripts?
No script writing is required. PokerAndroid is a complete software application and does not use scripts nor require you to write any scripts.

What are Profiles and where can I get some good ones?

Where did my PokerAndroid window go?
PokerAndroid does not reside in the taskbar. You can press the hotkey you have designated for focus on the Exits/Hotkeys tab or if you have lost where the window has gone to then you can do the following. Scroll through all your windows by holding down the "ALT" key on your keyboard and pressing the "TAB" key to scroll through all the current windows. When the PokerAndroid window is selected release both keys and PokerAndroid will maximize and receive focus.
